Serebro Group
This one of the most popular groups of the Russian pop scene was founded back in 2006. I owe much of my success to the production talent of Maxim Fadeev. The composition of the group changed several times. The one who lasted the longest was the one who is now a soloist.

In 2014, Temnikova left the group with a minor scandal and gave way to lead singer Olga Seryabkina. This was a turning point for the group. Instead, Anastasia Karpova came to Serebro, and Karpova herself was replaced by Daria Shashina, Katya Ishchuk updated the lineup later. Over the years, the group has released three albums:
- "OpiumRose";
- "Mama Lover";
- "The Power of Three."
Now, in addition to Olga Seryabkina, the team also includes Tatyana Morgunova, Polina Favorskaya and Ekaterina Kishchuk. For the first time in the entire existence of the group, there are not three, but four members.
Concept of the Serebro group
Initially, the group was preparing for the Asian stage, but Maxim Fadeev was urgently asked for a good team to perform at one important event. And then he had to release Serebro on the Russian market.
Initially, the girls performed in fairly closed clothes and sang beautiful songs about love. It was another female trio group. The strength of the group was the strong and unusual voice of Elena Temnikova. But over time, Fadeev realized that the concept needed to be changed towards aggressive sexuality, which did not suit Temnikova, and she left the group.
Now Serebro is positioned as a group of sexually liberated girls who dance in open outfits and sing songs about love, sometimes lesbian, and sexual relationships. In Serebro's videos there are always a lot of open bodies and hints of sex. The girls' makeup is bright, with sexy winged lines and brightly emphasized lips. Stage costumes are very revealing, mostly leather and latex.
Maxim Fadeev always tried to make the lineup of participants look like this: two sexy brunettes and one blonde. This blonde has plump lips and bright eyeliner. It was in this role that the girls performed in turn - Daria Shashina and Katya Kishchuk. The similarity in appearance struck many, and only the most attentive were able to notice the substitution. There were rumors that Daria Shashina and Katya Kishchuk were sisters.
Daria Shashina
Egorovna was born on September 1, 1990 in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. She grew up in a musical family. She does have a sister, but her name is Tatyana and she is 2 years younger than Daria.
She graduated from a music school with classes in piano and violin. Since her mother, after a divorce, married an English citizen, she and her family lived in England for some time, and Daria speaks perfect English. After her mother’s divorce, they returned to Russia, and Dasha entered the name of Mikhail Glinka. But having dropped out of school a little, she realized that her passion was jazz. Since America is the birthplace of jazz, Daria went there to pursue her dream. There she worked as a singer in a restaurant on Brighton Beach. She did not plan to return, but chance decided everything. She came across an advertisement for a participant in her favorite group and decided to try her hand. And she did it, in October 2013 she joined the Serebro group and later starred in six of its videos.
Why Dasha left Serebro
In March 2016, due to health reasons, Dasha had to leave the team. Her knees began to hurt quite badly, and playing sports in childhood took its toll. In March 2016, they published an article stating that all the participants and Maxim himself were very sorry, but they would have to say goodbye to Daria Shashina. The girl parted with the team on good terms. But the group needed a replacement, and Maxim Fadeev announced an urgent online casting.
Dasha, after leaving the team, is trying to sing solo under the pseudonym Luuna. Now the girl is happily married and runs her own blog on YouTube, which is popular.
Katya Kishchuk
Ekaterina Sergeevna Kishchuk was born on December 13, 1993 in the city of Tula. She also has a sister, but her name is not Daria, but Olga. Since childhood, I have been interested in music, dancing and hip-hop culture. After graduating from school, she set off to conquer Moscow. Childhood
The future singer was born in 1990 on the first day of autumn. Her childhood years were spent in the ancient and beautiful Nizhny Novgorod, where she began her creative journey. In Dasha's family, the sounds of music were constantly in the air. Her grandmother and father graduated from the local conservatory. Subsequently, my father connected his life with music, becoming one of the most successful Russian arrangers and composers. The girl’s mother, Alexandra Kovtyreva, was a famous violinist, so it is not at all surprising that the girl became interested in music as a child.
Two years later, there was an addition to the Shashin family, and Dasha had a sister, Tanya. It would seem like a happy and prosperous family, but five years later everything changed. The parents filed for divorce, and it was decided to leave the girls with their mother. But due to the fact that Dasha was only seven years old at the time, she was able to survive this tragedy relatively painlessly. The girl went to a comprehensive school, simultaneously combining it with a music school, where she immediately learned to play both the piano and the violin.
A few years later, Dasha’s mother walks down the aisle. Her chosen one was David Chatterton, who at that time was on a work trip in Nizhny Novgorod. After the wedding, the family moved to live in England. Finding herself in an unfamiliar country, Dasha began to actively study English, which she really liked. However, my mother’s new marriage also turned out to be short-lived and soon broke up. The family decided to move back to Russia.
In the footsteps of parents
Returning to her homeland, Dasha decided to enter the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory. Mikhail Glinka, where her relatives also studied before. Admission was easy for her; both her family’s good reputation and her musical talent helped.
However, she studied at the Shashin School for only four courses, after which she completed a two-year language program at one of the Nizhny Novgorod institutes and left for the USA.
The girl had long dreamed of moving to the States, since here was the birthplace of her favorite jazz. In America she enrolled in vocal courses. In her free time, Dasha worked as a model and sang in one of the restaurants on Broadway. The aspiring singer was quite happy with life in the USA and did not plan to return to Russia, but fate decreed otherwise.
"Silver" years
One day, having quite accidentally learned from the Internet about a casting for the group “Serebro” taking place in Moscow, Dasha immediately, without hesitation, packed her bags and flew to her homeland. She just wanted to try her luck; the girl did not count on success.
Before leaving, she reassured herself that even if she didn’t end up in the famous group, she would at least see her family. However, fate favored Dasha, and the casting ended with an affirmative “yes” from the lips of the project’s producer, Maxim Fadeev. Of course, Shashina was incredibly happy, as one of her most cherished wishes came true.
Together with Olga Seryabkina and Elena Temnikova, Dasha began performing in the updated composition of the team. Already in the fall of 2013, the first concert with her participation took place. Shashina gave her best: she showed fans her excellent vocal skills, and stood confidently and relaxed on stage. And now, two years later, Dasha becomes an idol for millions and an object of attraction for the opposite sex.
Together with the popular trio, she recorded many hits, including “Confused,” “Kiss,” and “I Won’t Give You Up.” The singer also recorded her own album, “Sexy ass,” which was released in February 2015.
Health is no joke
Dasha spent almost three successful years in the Serebro group, and in the spring of 2016 she announced that she was forced to leave the stage for health reasons. Due to intense physical exertion, the girl’s congenital dysplasia of the knee joints worsened, which led to a torn meniscus.
Shashina, understanding the seriousness of the incident, turned to specialists from Israel for help, hoping to the last that she would still be able to remain on the team. However, the doctors’ conclusion turned out to be disappointing; it turned out that the girl needed urgent surgery.
In connection with these events, Dasha decided to leave Silver. She was replaced by Tula resident Katya Kishchuk, who, it should be noted, looks very similar to her predecessor.
Despite the fact that Shashina left the project, Fadeev said that he would be ready to accept the girl again at any time. But the singer herself decided to put an end to her musical career for now. Health is more important to her.

A busy touring schedule did not allow Dasha to take up her personal life, but leaving the stage, she immediately met her soulmate.
The singer’s chosen one was Ivan Chebanov, a rising star of domestic show business, famous for his participation in the “Voice” project. I admit honestly, life has changed for the better, because I have become a free person again, I can decide for myself what and how I should do, what I should wear and not wear, if I have gained weight, then what should I cover up, and if I am thin, then what should I open it? Freedom is one of the best things in life, so I'm 100 percent happy. I’m happy that I met my man, and, in my opinion, this is the main thing for a girl. All career women end up with cats at 50.
SEREBRO Group
On the reason for leaving the group:
I left because of my health, I have big problems with my knee joints. They started back in 2007, when I was studying at the theater school. My left kneecap fell out of my leg, they set it back, pumped out all the fluid... I couldn’t study at the school for about six months, and I had to leave there and re-enter the conservatory. There I continued to dance, but problems with my legs started again, and the teacher allowed me to do all the exercises on one, right, leg. Thus, apparently, I overloaded my right leg... And in the SEREBRO group there are constant flights, lack of sleep, stress - emotional, psychological, physical... Naturally, the body malfunctioned, the legs didn’t exactly fail, but it was a nightmare.
I practically couldn't walk, I still can't squat, squat down, or if something falls under the table, I can't quickly squat down and pick it up. Whenever I get up from a chair or sofa, I do it only with my hands. This is still going on.

On whether she misses the group:
No, I'm not bored or sad. For me, this was an extremely difficult period in my life, and, perhaps, I am glad that everything is now as it is. The only thing I miss is touring. I really love traveling and am grateful to fate that I can now realize myself in the blogging field. I am invited to various press tours, these are the same tours, trips where I get high.

I am not continuing it because, as I said, I have difficulties with my legs. If I could jump around the stage like a horse, I would happily continue making my underground music. I hope that I will sort out my health, and then we’ll see.
About the wedding:
It will take place in mid-August. Imagine, I always wanted a magnificent wedding, but now, in the process of preparation, I understand that ideally I would like my parents, sister and husband and my closest friends to be at my wedding. Maximum 15 people.

Most recently, the composition of Maxim Fadeev’s popular project SEREBRO has once again changed. Only at the beginning of May this year, 26-year-old Daria Shashina left the team. The girl announced her departure on her personal microblog, where she warmly said goodbye to the employees of the production center and fans. For a long time, the only reason for the soloist’s departure was health problems. Thus, the end of his musical career as part of the group was the diagnosis: “congenital dysplasia of the knee joints.” Shashina's replacement was 22-year-old Tula resident Katya Kishchuk.
“A new, cool girl appeared there instead of me. I like her very much, I think she is beautiful and interesting. I think that she has a great future and in general the SEREBRO group will be great without me, even better than it was,” comments Dasha.
Fans of the group are accustomed to watching real female friendship on screens and monitors, but StarHit decided to find out if it exists and what “The Power of Three” actually hides within itself.
Daria herself grew up in a musical family: her grandparents, mom and dad are all musicians, especially jazz ones, so the girl never saw herself as a performer of pop music, but the personal offer of 48-year-old producer Maxim Fadeev to become the lead singer of the girl group SEREBRO was difficult resist. “Without hesitation, without really reading the contract, I simply agreed and signed everything,” Dasha says, smiling. But Daria was clearly not ready for such communication with the girls that reigned inside the squad.
“For me the atmosphere was unbearable, I will say the only terrible thing: hazing exists, and it is tough. All this did not leave me any room for some kind of inner creativity, I became constrained and began to have complexes,” admits Daria.
During her time in the group, the charming blonde gained 10 kilograms due to nervousness. This was a huge blow, because the girl had always had a slim body and was even a vegetarian for some time.
“I didn’t eat anything, went on strict diets, ate one leaf a day, played sports, ran in thermal pants, joined various weight loss programs - nothing helped me,” the young performer recalls with horror. And the reason for such a sharp weight gain and its “stagnation” was the extreme stress that Shashina was constantly under. So, as soon as Dasha stopped singing with the girls, her moral and physical condition began to improve. Currently, the singer looks great, maintains a personal blog, appears at various events, accompanied by her lover, 28-year-old participant in the show The Voice, Ivan Chebanov.
Daria sometimes follows the work of her former bandmates and notes that the group has a great future. “I really like the way they serve now, I just wish them continued success. I think they’re cool, they look stylish, I like the tracks I’ve heard - in general, it seems like they’re cohesive.”
